Research
This directory contains hypotheses, experiments, and future possibilities that have not yet become architectural commitments.
Documentation boundary
- Research describes exploration.
- Architecture describes stable design.
- Components describe implemented behavior.
- ADRs preserve decision rationale.
- History records architectural evolution.
Ideas should move from Research into Architecture only after sustained validation through implementation, evidence, or repeated design review.
Candidate topics
- Organizational state transitions
- Trust modeling
- Capability capital
- Organizational ecology
- Workforce flow
- Organizational metabolism
- Human motivation
- Network health
- PIA reasoning
- Organizational learning
- Adaptive organizations
Research standards
Research documents should identify hypotheses, assumptions, available evidence, uncertainty, ethical implications, and unanswered questions. Speculation should remain clearly distinguishable from established architecture.
- Project Bibliography — living source index and evidence-map intake.
- Literature-Positioning Matrix — working comparison of relevant research traditions.
- PIA and OSI Literature Positioning Notes — current boundary between established literature, recombination, and open research propositions.
- PIA ↔ Open Skills / LER Crosswalk — provisional boundary between PIA-native inference and standards-based interchange.
- Principle-to-Enforcement Crosswalk — working trace from philosophical commitments to rules, implementation, and bounded validation.
- Independent Convergence with the Open Skills / LER Field — project-history brief explaining the independent starting point and resulting division of labor.
